       Since many people asked, we are now carrying smokers, to go with the Knox incense we carry.  After last Christmas's success, we are adding more fine handcrafted wooden smokers!      The smoker shown is "Green Smoking Stove", which stands approx 5 1/2"tall, and burns regular size cones (you can also use mini cones, if you want a "short smoke")
   In 1932, Richard Glaesser founded the company, at first selling luxury goods, but turning to attractive wooden wares in 1934. By the late 1940's, his company was one of the larger producers of wooden Christmas decorations & novelties
   Unfortunately, the post-war partitioning of German would find the company in the Communist East. They would continue to produce wooden wares, but Christmas played a much diminished role under the Communists.  After Germany was reunited in 1990, they experienced a huge increase in popularity, because, if anything, the isolation of being in the East, protected the "old ways & traditions" of the craft.
